Applications to attend training classes are administered by Surrey FA and are listed on their website - just follow the links under Referees.

Courses are held at various locations in the county and there should be one that suits you. Once you have applied, and before attending the course there is some pre-course study which has to be completed satisfactorily which would then allow you to continue on to the practical element.

You'll be taken through the Laws of the Game and how they should be applied on the field of play. Candidates will each receive a whistle, assistant referees' flags and a notebook with notepad and red and yellow cards, as well as essential course material. The tutors are all FA Licensed and are trained to guide you through this intensive course. The success rate is high but be prepared for some hard work!
