Minutes of meeting which took place on the 21st April 1999 at the Sutton Utd. F.C. ground, with 15 members in attendance.

In the absence of the Chairman (Stuart Bell) Peter Fenn undertook these duties.
Minutes of Previous Meeting.
The details of which had been published within the current issue of the Society magazine were accepted by members present, without comment, and duly signed by the Chairman.
Matters Arising.
Roger Pink pointed out that the 'plaque' referred to under the item of Other Business was, in fact, presented to Charlie Holliday by the Referees Association in recognition of 50yrs. Service to the R.A. and not as recorded within the 'Minutes' of the March meeting. The Minutes Secretary acknowledge this error and would arrange correction.

Copy of Minutes to hand in respect of meeting held on the 13th March 1999, relevant items of interest appended.
a) Whilst it was understood there would be no major alterations within the 99/00 issue of L.O.A.F. the basic content would be updated in format and general presentation.
b) All indications were that the Insurance Policy payment would continue at £2.50.
c) Possible amendment pending related to the need of nominating substitutes at 'Junior' level.
d) Quiz & Five-a-side 'Divisional' level finals had resulted in a win for Brighton R.A. (beating South of the Thames R.A.) and the A.F.A were winners of the Quiz (beating Brighton R.A.).
e) Confirmed that 'The Football Referee' magazine would cost 70pence next season.

No report made, pending presentation of Annual Statement at A.G.M. to follow.
Training Officer - Report.
The examination of latest training session candidates had been very successful, one re-sit necessary only, due to take place in May.
Sessions for the 99/00 season already in hand, applications already in hand.
The initial 'In Service Training' session programmed for Wednesday 15th September 1999, venue Wimbledon R.A.
