Rule Changes (Local). Prior to the election of Officers/Members, as listed, membership had approved the under mentioned rule changes as Proposed by John Brown, Seconded Roger Pink.
a) That the position of Minutes Secretary should be deleted and replaced by the appointment of an Assist. Hon. Secretary.
b) That the wording Training Officer should be replaced by Training Officers.

Henry Hutt Award. As a result of a paper ballot the members present nominated John Brown as the recipient for the season 1998/99.

It was confirmed that a personal 'trophy' would be presented to the 1997/98 award winner (John Martin), a situation which had been previously overlooked.

Allocation of F.A. Cup Final Tickets. These were taken up by Fred Darlington following the usual personal application from members present in the allocation of same. (An appropriate warning advice was provided as to conditions imposed by the F.A. on the misuse of tickets by the receiver).

L.O.A.F. Publication 1999/2000. Members present approved the initial purchase of 20 copies for resale to membership.

There  being no other business the meeting closed as 21.50hrs.

Minutes of meeting which took place on the 12th April  2000 at Sutton Utd. F.C. ground with 21 members/associate members present.

In the absence of both the Chairman and Hon. Secretary, Peter Fenn and John Kasey conducted the meeting respectively.

Apologies for absence.
These were duly recorded as having been made/received from, Peter Moore, John Brown, Mike Taylor, Anne Lappin, B. Gladden; D. Gladden and J. Gladden: Kevin Winzer.
Chairman undertook to introduce Ron Leow  (a founder member of the Sutton Society) who had recently returned to this country after a period of some nine years working in Germany.  Who would be talking about his refereeing activities in Europe.

Minutes of previous meeting
In accordance with standard practice these had been published within the current issue of the Society magazine.  Upon formal request were confirmed as a correct record by members present.

Matters arising.
The Society President pointed out that he was present at last months meeting, the apology for absence was therefore inappropriate.

Hon. Secretary - Report.
John Kasey had not received any late or last minute instructions from the Hon.Sec. but reminded members present of the following items.

1. Re-registration with County FA as soon as possible.
2. Sutton Society 'end of season dinner' arranged for Friday 19th May at the Morden
   Hall Park, Beefeater Restaurant 7.30 for 8.00 o'clock.  All enquiries to Hon.Sec.
    before the end of April.
3. Support requested for teams to participate in the County 6-a-side competition
    aranged for Sunday 21st May at Fetcham Park Utd. Ground, Leatherhead.  Kick off
    1.30pm.  Suggested two teams - one younger, one not so young!  Telephone calls
    in support awaited.
4. RA Tickets have been issued to membership, money and stubs to John Martin a s
    soon as possible.
5. Completed Sutton Registration forms (and fees) still awaited by John Martin.
6. Sutton Society - AGM - will take place on the 10th May as part of a normal
    meeting.  The Henry Hutt award will be made during the evening.
7. The Society has been allocated 3 F.A. cup final tickets, members interested and pr
    sent at the April meeting will participate in a draw as to allocation to individuals.
