Minutes of meeting which took place on the 8th March 2000
at the Sutton Utd F.C. ground with 18 members present.

Minutes of previous meeting
The details of which had been published within the current issue of the Society Magazine were accepted by members present, without comment and duly signed by Kevin Winzer who in the absence of Chairman Mike Taylor and Vice Chairman Peter Fenn, acted as Chairman for the evening.

Matters arising.             None.

Hon-Secretary - Report/correspondence.
The Council of the Referees Association held a meeting on the 20th February, the subject of insurance was discussed and the problems that arose after the 31st March.  It was decided that if you were a member on the 1st of March of any given year your membership would automatically carry on throughout the summer.  It is important to note however that you must get your membership forms off by the end of July.

Dave Chapman is looking for an official to referee an under seventeen's game this Sunday.

Training Officers - Report.
Only six students currently studying for referee's exams which will take place on the 23rd of March.  One person will not be taking the exam as he missed a couple of weeks; he will wait until April.

RA Delegate - Report.
No report given.

Supplies Officer - Report.
Visited the current class on Monday with goods.  Apart from that Plenty of stock.                                                     

Magazine Editor - Report.
Thanked everyone who sent in articles last month. The deadline for next month is the 4th of April

Other business.
John Martin commented on the fact that he has received only twenty-six registration forms so far.  Normally at this time of the year he would have received forty five to fifty forms, so we are well below the usual target. David Churchley mentioned that he would put a reminder in next month's issue of Touchlines.
