A warm welcome to the new season for the established members and those of you just starting out in the world of refereeing. Our thanks go out to Mick Taylor for his contribution as outgoing chairman. I personally would like to think that his work commitments will improve enough to enable him to not only attend meetings but be in a position to consider being our chairman again.
I am sure that those of you who are actively refereeing this season have kept yourselves in the best of physical trim, but that's only half of it. To prepare mentally is moor often a far harder task, that's why we try to help by having a society for you. The magazine that we have is a good way to keep abreast of situations experienced by other referees, but also is coming to the meetings and talking things over with other people of different levels of expertise.
We are very fortunate that Sutton United have allowed us to hold our meetings at their club where the facilities are of a very high standard for both business and pleasure.
So why not make an evening of it on the 13th September and lets see you all there for 7.30pm.
