Rule changes.
Hon Secretary was contacted by David Crick with the suggestion that if the Society were to fold for any reason the following would happen:-

All monies left following the settling of any outstanding debts shall be donated to the Referees' Association Benevolent Fund

After discussions in committee we put forward for consideration by members the following amendment: -

Any money that remains after all debts and bills have been met will, if the amount is greater when divided by the total membership than the current annual subscription, be divided up as follows:
Each member shall be given that year' subscription back.  Any cash remaining in the account once this has been done will be donated to the Referees Association Benevolent fund.  Should the cash at time of closure not be sufficient to return to the members their full subscription all outstanding cash will be donated to the Referees Association Benefit Fund.

All members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the committee proposal that will now be incorporated in our rules.

Henry Hutt Award
As a result of a paper ballot the members present nominated David Churchley as the recipient for the season 2000/2001.
