RA Bits

· The RA insurance premium will stay the same (£2.50) for Season 2001/02
· Both Brian Fish and Cyril West (Guildford) have had their applications for the RA Meritorious Service Award granted by National Council.
· Bill Goodsell (West London) has had his 50-year membership award granted.
· At a special meeting of the SCFA the question of incorporation was discussed and failed to get the necessary majority to pass the motion. This may have some far-reaching repercussions if they don't get the required majority at the Special Meeting they have called to re-visit the subject.
· Ray Ward has contacted me to confirm that all Referee Affiliation Forms for next Season have been dispatched for all classes of referee. If you have not received your form by Monday, 11 March please contact the County Office for a replacement.

However, there are, this Season,
TWO forms that have been sent for completion; one from the County FA and the other from The Football Association. Each form has the wording asking for a £7.00 cheque.
I have been asked to point out that only ONE £7.00 cheque is required and this should be sent with both forms to the County Office.
Although I have not had this confirmed, I assume that the form for the FA is part of their information gathering exercise to populate their new WONFAS (Web-enabled On-line Football Administration System) database which they aim to use to assist in the administration of game throughout the country. Should you need further information on this, I'll be happy to supply it.

Kind regards,
David Crick
